quoromy was founded in Hồ Chí Minh City with a modest ambition: to practice law in a way that treats every client's concerns with the same seriousness, regardless of the scale of their matter. The name reflects our approach — "quorum" suggests the gathering of minds needed to make sound decisions, and "elm" evokes the kind of steady, rooted presence we aim to offer.

Our early work centred on helping small and medium enterprises navigate Vietnam's evolving regulatory environment. Many of these businesses were led by people who found legal language intimidating or unclear. We made it a point to communicate in plain terms, to explain the reasoning behind our recommendations, and to remain accessible when questions arose between formal meetings.

Over the years, the practice grew to include real estate and property work, as well as immigration and work permit support for the growing number of foreign professionals making Vietnam their home. Each new area of practice emerged from a real need expressed by clients we were already serving. We did not chase growth for its own sake.

Today, quoromy operates from a quiet office on Pasteur Street in District 1, within walking distance of the city's administrative centres. The team is small enough that every client works directly with experienced practitioners, yet broad enough in expertise to handle matters that cross between legal disciplines.
